Teatime Talk: A Century of O'Connell Street, From Sackville Street to Now

14 Henrietta Street presents Teatime Talks, a series of talks hosted by social historian Donal Fallon, inspired by the history and people of 14 Henrietta Street.
For the residents of Henrietta Street and the inner-city more broadly, O'Connell Street has been a central place of work, life and leisure. In 1924, the street was renamed from Sackville Street to what it is now. Marking this centenary, Nicola Pierce will explore the history of the street and what it has meant for the Irish capital.
Nicola Pierce is an author from Dublin. Her publications include histories like O'Connell Street O'Connell Street The History and Life of Dublin's Iconic Street, and Children's Historical Fiction like Chasing Ghosts: An Arctic Adventure and In Between Worlds, the Journey of the Famine Girls.
